Yes, I am currently interning at Taiwan. It is a very organised and well connected via public transport. You might face some problem given the fact that people don't understand English. But as for my experience is concerned the Taipei city has english speaking people and is manageable. The people here as well are very helpful and welcoming in nature. You can message me if you have any further queries.

Mumbai as a city has lot to offer. You can explore gardens, enjoy sea view at marine drive, Aksa and Juhu beaches, eat food and enjoy night life in colaba etc. But if you want to escape the crowd you can visit, Kashid beach, Mahabaleshwar, Matheran. The famous Lonavalaa and Khandala drives from Mumbai to Pune. You can plan your itinerary and see what all places do you wanna explore.

I will suggest to hire a cab and go on your own. You can choose the option of homestays instead of Hotels. You will surely have a local experience.

For hotels u can check airbnb site and if u want cheaper hotels than check during the visit u will find some deals definitely For itinerary https://www.tripoto.com/trip/two-days-in-and-around-nainital-an-adventurous-trip-58d41cee99bf2

Nainital is a nice escape for summers. You can do a boat ride in Naini Lake (Bhimtal lake is much better), Pt. G.B. Pant High Altitude Zoo or Nainital Zoo, Naina Devi temple, Eco Cave gardens, Snow view point, Trek to Tiffin Top etc. The district is enjoyable without a planned itinerary as well. You also need to know, it is a peak season and the place will be crowded this time of the year. Regarding Hotels, you can book hotels on any hotel booking website or go airbnb way, prices near the tourist locations will be a bit higher this time of the year. The most popular place to stay is near Naini Lake or you can also book hotels a bit farther alongside Nainital high court road.

Hi, I would advice against taking your bike across as you are exposed vehicle import fees at the foreign country port. And you need to have insurance cover from the moment you land in. To not to engage in these complications, you are better with hiring a bike locally. I am sure there will be a few in colombo. If you still like to take your bike, you may check with the ferry company operating from Tuticorin harbour..I am not sure if there is a ferry between Madras and Srilanka...
