There are lots of places in South but in this time of year it will be pretty hot and humid down there except hill stations. You can go anywhere up north. If you want nearby places then check, Saputara, silvassa/dudhani, Sardar Patel statue/pavagadh or champaner, Wilson hills, daman, diu, gir/somnath, Dwarka, polo forest/Patan, Mount abu, udaipur, pushkar, Jodhpur, nashik/Sula wineyards etc.

You can visit to The Sagarika Marine Research Aquarium is situated at Vizhinjam, about 2 km from Kovalam in Thiruvananthapuram. Angelfish, clown fish, seahorses, box fish, cow fish, eels and wrasses are among the exotic fish breeds seen here. The Image Pearl Technique at Vizhinjam Maritime Aquarium does exactly that using shell cement. A reef tank with an assortment of corals is yet another attraction here. Vizhinjam is a natural port and one of the busiest fishing harbours in the district.

The best possible way to reach chitkul is by train+cab.
To reach Chitkul from mumbai you have to take a train to Medak, which is hardly 16hours tour, from Medak you can take public transport or your own personal cab to reach chitkul which is at 5 hours distance from each other.

I took my best way via shimala...
from shimala I took early morning jeep which was sharing and newspaper distributor towards sangla valley... I reached karcham by afternoon. then I took a public bus transport ( hrtc) towards sangla. again I took public bus transport from sangla to chitkul. my route was - shimala - karcham - sangla - chitkul
if you want decent journey you can hire a cab but trust me hrtc bus drivers are super amazing they give you the best rides, being there with public transport is adventure.

Its better to plan on your own. Make sure to visit Suzdal, its amazing..... Train service is very efficient and for travel within towns you can even use taxi.

It would be good if you go for 2 days ,please prefer domestic flight which will cost you around 4000 and it will be good if you stay at the most popular hostel , it will benefit you as there is nothing much to see other than temple so thay you can make new friends at hostels and enjoy the pool party

July may be that apt mosty april to june and sept to december is the apt time. just plan according to climate.
UpvoteCommentKhir Ganga is a small village set up through out the summers in Himachal Pradesh. It is open for 7 months in a year from March thru October. It is a beautiful day trek on a narrow cliff side path going by numerous waterfalls and few isolated villages. There is usually about 30-50 people at the village site during the high season. So yeah obviously July is good time to do this and there are many agencies who is giving good offers for this trek. Best of Luck:)
