Must visit Nathula Pass and then go to Hanuman tok which is great architecture and beautiful.
Then Tashi view point, Rumtek Monastery, Ganesh tok these are places for day 2.

Yes..please carry woollen clothing as the minimum temperatures now in Kheerganga are around -2 to 1..... maximum around 15-16 degrees..

If you are travelling to Kheerganga I will suggest that you must carry a Jacket. Regarding items apart from jacket you will get blanket at top as there are lots of options to stay in tent at the top. they provide you with all things. Keep your luggage light as you have to trek carrying the whole weight.
P.S. Take rubber shoes on rent at the beginning of the trek as it is very helpful during climbing.

AnswerWishlistIn the left navigation there is link for "Get Paid To Travel" click on that then click on the Redeem button against any trip which you want, then your credits will deducted accordingly and within 48 hrs you will get the mail regarding your trip details.

If you are planning to buy the trip from your credits then you have to check out the offers that they give and according to your credits you can buy one. Hope you find it helpful!

Summer is the best time to visit Nagaland. Avoid travelling in monsoon as it witnesses heavy rains.

AnswerWishlistIf you are talking about Best time then visit between Mid October to Mid March as you can snow also and superb pleasant weather. But as this is hill station so you can visit any time nowadays many tourist are going there because summer started in other parts of country.

What do you exactly wish to know about it? Khirsu is in Uttarakhand. Nearest railway station is Hrishikesh which is around 130 kms. from there you can travel to Khirsu by local transportation. It is known for being an offbeat destination for some real good Village experiences.

This app is all about the experience of travellers from different countries and publish their trips and provide some credits to them . These credits are redeemed by traveller for some packages in the tripoto app with discounted prices. Go to top left options and select " Get Paid to Travel" tab then you can see all the offered trips there. Currently 3 trips are so you can click any one and redeem button is there.

these points are basically reward against your trip or photoblog you publish here.
Once you get enough credits you can redeem them for travel packages provided by Tripoto which keeps changing roughly month to month. After redeeming you get discount on that particular package and need to pay the remaining amount, you can take your partner with you as trips will be mostly twin sharing but other person has to pay full amount.

Hii jaquiline, I'll be happy to answer your travel queries from my experience βΊοΈ.
*congratulations,you are planning your trip to himachal and specifically famous Destinations like shimla,manali , Kasol and kheerganga for first time .Whichever season you visit here , it will be heavily cold and if you are first time , avoid winters initially.
*your backpack must contain extra dry tshirts and yoga pants , light weight clothes, mountains sickness medicines ,torch ,water bottle , warm woolen inners and preferably rent warm clothes .you can easily rent them in most of places .
*best transportation in Himalayas is either our own car/tempo traveller or government buses .they are cheap and cover Destinations safely too .
*if you are travelling solo,you can stay at zostel or any other such type of travellers hostel for less cost and meeting new travellers.

Hi - I have done my first solo trip in Himachal as well. What I would suggest is to start with places that are easier to reach and are slightly mainstream. This will make you get some confidence on your ability to do solo trips too. Since you haven't mentioned how many days you want to travel - I am suggesting a 8-10 days of travel. That being said - I would suggest you start with the Parvati valley. It has a series of good places like - Kasol, Malana, Tosh being the more popular ones. You can spend 4-5 days total in these places. You can find multiple cheap stay options here. No need to fret too much about the rooms as you would anyway spend your time in the cafes and the mountains. From here, you can try and visit Manali (would recommend staying in Zostel, Manali for about 2 days). And if you have time then go for Bir (2 days) as it has amazing paragliding places. Transportation - To travel to Himachal, you can take a bus from Delhi. Post which, local travel between the towns can be done in local buses. They are generally a shorter journey and local buses, although crowded, but are part of the experience too. Preparation wise - I think you can definitely take with you a jacket, windcheater, thermal inners, sport shoes (So you can trek if you want to), music in phone or ipod, standard first-aid kit (as it is a solo trip), a good camera.
