You don't need a guide in phuket just GPS a rented scooter is enough. Book local island tours as it good and economical

If you want a travel agent then u can go to travel triangles website and you will get quote from 3 different vendors and then you can negotiate with them

It depends a lot on your interest.. if you choose to spend minimum on stay, you’ll still end up paying around 6k per day.. if you are visiting the universal studios and sentosa island.. that alone costs around 70-100 SGD.. top it up with other miscellaneous expenditure & food.. so i would say around 30-40k

Flight is best option as you can take flight to Bangalore then by bus or car go to Ooty.

If you want cheaper flight then travel to bangalore by air then a road trip to ooty. If you want a close touch to nilgiris, travel by air to Coimbatore and reach mettupalayam, then take toy train to ooty. Without experiencing the toy train visiting ooty is nothing completed.

March-April is best time to visit Rishikesh. You can Enjoy Rafting first day and take tour around city. There are many Ganga Beaches there which make you feel refresh.
second day you can do hiking to Neelkanth or can take tour to Rajaji National Park.
UpvoteCommentI'll be also in rishikesh on that day..rafting is still in action just the rates have increased abruptly. now 16km rafting will cost you 1k per person. If you love adventure sports then do bungee jumping. must do camp stay over there. visit to neelkanth temple. lunch at chotiwala restaurant. rest you can get in touch.

At dhanaulty camp stay is a must. from where you can see different shades of Himalayas at different time intervals very clearly. I can recommend you some camps there. you can see my photo blog for details. rest if u need I can share you the connects there.
UpvoteCommentBest way to this trip is Reach Dehradun and take a bike or scooter on rent which is easily available there. Reach Mussoorie First day and leave for Dhanaulti around 4 PM so you can reach Dhanaulti by 5:30-6 PM in way you can see beautiful sunset from some points if you are lucky with time and location.
Stay night at Dhanaulti and next day enjoy morning there. now if you want to visit tehri and return back same day then leave around 10 AM and you will be at Tehri by 3 hours if you enjoy the way otherwise you can cover distance in 2 hours also. Now spend time there and leave before 4 if you want to get back at Dhanaulti and can leave at 5 if want to stay at Chamba. You can do same trip with public transportation which is available there but frequency after Mussoorie to Tehri is very low by Buses.

Yes, It is safe for female solo traveller but sometimes when a issue is going on in kashmir that time it is not safe for anyone.

As this is your first time and you would like to explore the famous places.. stay near calangute and baga beach... acerage budget place i would suggest is bloom suites.. hire a 2 wheeler.. you will get someone through hotel.. sit on beach side shacks.. order food and drinks n chill.. you can then hop from one beach to another.. chapora fort before 5 pm.. vagator beach for great sunset.. There is a tito lane with famous eateries.. chill and enjoy

Entire state has got a tabs of beaches and hills to choose from. From varkala in the south to bekal in the north. Depends on which airport you are flying into you can have a great holiday for a week.
