You can explore the whole city by yourself.. just book a bike on rental basis, and explore Pondicherry

Recently airport has been opened in pondy. You can roadtrip from chennai and also from Bangalore. You can stay in french town. There so many hotels near to Rock beach or facing rock beach.
You can visit paradise beach, auroville, aurbindo ashram, local market, new lighthouse Cafes in french town, baker street for authentic french bakery, cafe des Arts, coromandel cafe.

Hii, Kanika Firstly you book hotel, there are so many hotels in pondicherry from high to low budget.
After that take bike in rent and go where you want, but first start with Auroville, for seeing auroville you need pre-booking. After that go to paradise beach, french colony and so many temples are also there. P.s. Don't forget to Drink filter coffee thanks

One Day for Auroville and nearby beaches. another day for the Promenade trip - most of the places are very nearby to each other.
