Hey Karthiga, There is no restrictions as such you are worried of bro .... Every place and every destination has people who helps you and who doesn't ... You ought to be open with all kinds of issues when you are travelling... It's always better to know few phrases in Hindi to ask ... like what's the cost ... what's the distance ... what's for lunch and dinner kind of things ... Beleive me once you try to converse in hindi later you can manage in english with every person in North India . .. So dont worry about language.... Just go and enjoy .... Happy Travelling Bro!!!

HI Karthiga, English is spoken almost everywhere in North India. You can visit Manali, Dalhousie, Dharamshal, Uttrakhand, Delhi, Lucknow, Amritsar.

Depends on alot of factors.. North india is huge. If you have a thing for mountains pick,scenic beauty pick Dharamshala, if desert is your thing pick leh... also depends on your means of travel

Generally, people do speak English in North India but if you want a smooth travel without any language barrier. I suggest you to memories some basic phrases in Hindi to get well with the locals. Or you can just download google translation app for the best experience.

If you wanna travel smooth speaking english in North, i would recommend going to Gurgaon, Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigarh are bit tough calls though
