Hi Pratibha,
Given that its ben raining cats and dogs, Shivanasamudra falls will be flowing with water. It is definetly worth the visit even though you are not allowed to go down to the fall anymore.

If you like to shop then the local bazaars won't disappoint.
There are 2-3 near Hawa Mahal, and cafes opposite it, where one can enjoy the night view of that beauty.
There's also a place called masala chouk, a food complex (check if it's open).

Updated by Sikkim tourism department as of August 21st.
Tourists who have taken both the vaccine shots are free to enter the state without any restrictions. But, people below 18 years of age, will have to carry their COVID negative RT-PCR test that should have been conducted within 72 hours of travel.

Planning to visit Sikkim during Mid October. But from Bagdogra planning to do Bike trip. Wanted to understand the permissions for doing a bike trip in Sikkim. Also wanted to chck on permissions for Changu Lake, Nathula Pass, Gurudongmar lake & Zero Point.

You can rent bike from Siliguri 15 kms from Bagdogra.
Nathula pass permit can be obtained from the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department. To make your tour easy, we recommend applying through a registered Sikkim tourism travel agency. One will need a valid ID proof and two passport-sized photographs.

I came to Guwahati on 3rd October. So this is the latest update. People who have taken 2 vaccines need to show their vaccination certificate at the arrival gate and are allowed to leave. For people who are not vaccinated or have taken only the 1st dose need to get a covid test (RTPCR & Antigen) at the airport itself. They have opened a swab sample collection center. If you've taken your 1st dose, the test will cost you Rs. 250/-. If you're not vaccinated, the test will cost Rs. 500/-. They take payment only in cash.

UpvoteCommentYou have 3 best options nearby if you want to go a hill station the u bust go to Lonavala and Lavasa or Mahabaleshwar which u can visit and enjoy properly in 3 days, ether u can go to Alibag beach, it's peaceful and good place to spend some time with yourself.
