Hi, You can follow this schedule - Yamunotri -> Gangotri -> Kedarnath -> Badrinath Day1: Board the bus from Dehradun "pahadi" bus stand to Barkot (135km, approx 4-4.5hrs bus journey) Board the early morning bus (5-5:30AM) and reach Barkot by ~9AM. From Barkot, board a share cab/ private cab till "Janki Chatti" (45km, ~2hours), you'll reach Janki Chatti by probably 12PM. From Janki Chatti (2521m), Yamunotri temple is about 5km (Altitude: 3246m). You can do this in like 2-2.5hrs depending upon your capacity or may hire a porter. From Yamunotri you can come down the same day and stay at Janki Chatti. Day 2: Start early morning and come down to Barkot by a share cab (45km, ~2 hours) or if share cabs from Janki chatti are available till Uttarkashi then well and good. Else from Barkot, board a bus/share cab to Uttarkashi (~80km, 3hours). From Uttarkashi, there are ample of share taxis to Gangotri (~100km, 3 - 4 hours). You will be able to visit the temple the same day. Stay at Gangotri or Harsil and enjoy the day with their local delicacies, maggi and tea. Day 3: Enjoy the sunrise at Harsil/Gangotri, board a share cab and come down to Uttarkashi (100km, ~3-4 hours). From Uttarkashi, take a share cab till Rishikesh (~170km, 6-6:30hrs). Rest and enjoy Rishikesh. Day 4: Catch the first bus to Sonprayag from Rishikesh (~212km, ~8hrs). From Sonprayag, several share taxis are available till Gaurikund (~7km). You may either take a share cab or go by foot (depending on your capacity). Stay at Gaurikund. Day 5: Trek to Kedarnath from Gaurikund (16km trek), start as early as possible (Trek from Gaurikund starts at 4 AM till 1 PM, after 1 PM you are not allowed to trek to Kedarnath from Gaurikund). It's a 16km trek and can be done in a day. Gaurikund is at an altitude of 1985m and Kedarnath at 3543m, there's in an altitude rise of 1558m (5141ft). The route is Gaurikund - Jungle Chatti (4km) - Bheembali (3km) - Linchauli (4km) - Kedarnath base camp (4km) - Kedarnath temple (1km). If you are damn fit then you can do this in a day or else there is a very high possibility of AMS. Keep your pace slow, drink ample amount of water and take black coffee or green tea to keep you fit and motivated. Reach Kedarnath, hire a room and stay there, attend evening prayer and enjoy the scenic beauty. Day 6: Attend the morning aarti and start descending. Descending would be easier and you can easily descend in like about 6 hours. So lets say that you started descending at about 6AM, you should probably reach down by 12PM or max 1PM. Let's say you reach by 1 PM, take share cab and reach Sonprayag. From Sonprayag take a bus or cab till Rudraprayag (~75km, ~2.5 - 3 hours). Get a room and rest here. Day 7: Start early, Take any bus coming from Rishikesh to Badrinath (~160km, 5:30 - 6hours). Let's say you reach Badrinath by 2 PM. You can visit the holy shrine, take a dip in the hot springs. You may visit Mana village (4km from Badrinath shrine which is said to be the last Indian village in that area). You may stay at Mana (free from hustle bustle) or may stay at Badrinath. Day 8: (optional) you may roam in Mana and visit Bhhempul, Vyas gufa, ganesh gufa and other places. Enjoy the place, relax and chill and get down to Joshimath (~50km, 2.5 - 3hours). Get a room and enjoy the place. Day 9: Start early, board the bus to Rishikesh (255km, ~ 8:30 - 9Hours). If you do not want to visit Mana village then leave Badrinath early in the morning and reach Joshimath from where you'll get the bus to Rishikesh. Consider per person cost for about 14K.

Hi Rucha, you will really enjoy each and every bit of this Yatra, its totally a divine experience, Yatra should always start in a clockwise direction i.e. Yamunotri- Gangotri- Kedarnath and conclude at Badrinath, Out of the four dham Gangotri and Badrinath could be reached quite comfortably without any trek and you have to trek quite a bit to reach Yamunotri and especially Kedarnath. For more details please visit our link- https://www.travelntweet.com/2019/05/char-dham-yatra-badrinath-dham.html Wish you a wonderful journey!!

Hi you can cover places in cochin like Fort Kochi which is a major tourist spot. Then i would suggest Munnar where iravukalam national park, Anamudi, Tea plantations, Top Station etc are major attractions. Then you can proceed to Thekkady where Periyar Tiger Reserve, Boating, Jeep Safari, Sathram etc are major places to cover. After that kumarakom where you can pay visit to kumarakom bird sanctuary and also include , Aleppey which is famous for house boat. If you time you can include kovalam beach, poovar islands etc in trivandrum. Happy Journey.

It takes 24-48 hrs. Wait for couple of more days if you don't see any credits.

Depends upon you brother... On your travel.. accomodation.. and eateries... you can stay at hotels which will cost you more . and if you can stay at hostels.. it will be cheaper... so a trip can be as minimum as you want.

See this is a very open ended question, as it depends upon various factors like form where you are starting your trip and to where in Uttarakhand you are going. However for more clarity you can be place specific to know the answer better

If you are planning to the southern most end, like Ponmudi hills of Thiruvananthapuram its the right time. The hills are completely fogged up and its a mind blowing sight.Monsoon is not much strong this year. I surely suggest this as the right time to visit.

This is the right time to visit as there will be scenic beauty and the weather is also good this year

Yes you can.. It becomes risky from early October...Just check any sudden weather changes before going.. Because of global warming weather conditions keep fluctuating..

My favourite time of the year to Travel to Leh. All my three trips to Leh was during the first week of September. September in fact is the best time to visit Leh Ladakh. The roads will be in perfect condition, there is greenery all around, the lakes will look aqua blue in colour and what more to ask.

You really don't need a travel agent. You can easily plan the trip your own. We went to Malaysia for about 10 days and from Madurai to Madurai including everything we incurred only 85000 for two people where all our hotels were 4 star and all sightseeing done by Grab Taxi app. You may check my photo blog https://www.tripoto.com/trip/just-two-of-us-an-unforgettable-week-long-trip-to-truly-asia-malaysia-for-less-than-rs-85000-5d0c8a95321ae?utm_source=Android_App%26utm_medium= if you need any help in planning just let me know

Bhutan is the best for the romantic getaway. you can go with trip advisor or mmt as it's better if you are doing it on your own it would be difficult for you there are many packages in different websites you can check on to that. And you can refer to this itinerary https://www.tripoto.com/trip/bhutan-a-land-of-thunder-dragons-5c73c3200e52b

My suggestion is to plan it yourself. you can also customize based on your interest area of visit trip, also ask quote from travel triangle, tripoto, trip advisor and then shortlist the one which suits you
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Both the options are equally beautiful and doable in October . Depends upon which places your family wants to visit.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Both are good options

If you already went to the height of 3 km earlier, then there is no need of acclimatization. If you have not then I will suggest that when you arrive at Leh, stay there at least for 24 hrs. AMS can happen to some and may not happen to some. Like when I went their for the first time... I had severe headache...but then I was O.K after a day in Leh. So precaution is always better then cure. And yes you can see both part of this region in your said time.

It will be difficult to go anywhere during monsoons in Orissa.. Bcz it has mainly beaches and historical monuments..
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
If you want to see snow, then u can.. it's spectacular during that time..
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Definitely. you get the feel of the weather best then. Though for jungle Safari trips it is difficult to get to see the desired animals in winter season
