Hi,
From Rajasthan going to himachal just for weekend doesn't work as reaching himachal will take time.. So either u take out minimum 5 days or u can visit Uttarakhand if u have atleast 3 days.
It is a very good and serene place. There's music, lights and a boating option also available. A small hotel for some snacks and fast food. It is quite inside the forest and I have visited there from Andheri via car so I don't know how far is it from goregaon station.
But it's a good place for couples.
Depend on the view and how much question you answer .. and one suggestion just participate in the contest like #FoodWithaView #MyTravelBuddy u get 400 point if you win ...
You can board a train from Amritsar to either Moradabad or Rampur and then carry the onwards journey via road and nainital being a hilly terrain doesn't have a railway station of it's own. Moradabad to Nainital is approx 3.5 hours journey, whereas rampur to Nainital is approx 3 hours.
Personally saying you should avoid biking in April , if possible start in May. Roads are open from Shimla side via Narkanda. From Manali side Rohtang pass would be closed till mid of June(depends on BRO).

From Kolkata Darjeeling would be a grt place visit. it has nature, adventure and many more.. A ride in the toy train should be the first in your to do list..the views and the local life is so well understood through this journey.. you have a couple of monasteries too . and the Zoo is a good option if you have kids.. and documentary movies on mountaineering inside the zoo campus is also worth it. don't miss to wear their traditional costumes and get a pic. River rafting would be a grt adventurous activity to cherish.
In summer days are hot but evening is so pleasant but winter is harsh, In my view Aril is good time and starting winter like October is great to vist Arunachal Pradesh. I was there in March (Dirang and miling) and October(Bomdilla, Tawang and Bimla) weather was so pleasant in day and Cold in night.
It's gonna be tough. After Rohtang..there is a bad stretch at Gramphu and Batal Dhaba that can be hectic..I always say no to pillion when in Mountains...
