Mandrem Beach Reviews

10. Horticulture Farms of Mandrem Going to a wildlife sanctuary can get too tedious because of the distance. Why not take a mini version of the break not far from the beaches, and more easily accessible! Mandrem has a few private horticultural farms hosting beautiful greens such as mangoes, nutmeg, arecanut, coconut, jackfruit, black pepper and orchids. Be a nice guest, get a permission from the owners and enjoy a short break into the nature.
Last day in Goa so we decided to just chill at Mandrem all day. The day alternated between dips in the sea, beers in the restaurant and just lazing around on the sunbeds. In the evening we walked along the beach street picking up trinkets and snacking on shawarma rolls. We left for the airport the next morning and headed back.
After lunch at Palolem we headed started the long cab drive to Mandrem. Reaching there in the evening, we had a late lunch at the sea facing huts where we were staying, had a nice dip and chilled by the beach for the rest of the evening.
Had enough, well then get moving on to Mandrem Beach. This is the relaxed part. You will see foreigners but they are more the family sort. The interesting topography makes a small inlet of water where you are sandwiched between water sand and ocean.
g) Drove to Mandremto explore the beach. Also checked "Elsewhere" cottages to check their stay. Pretty decent place to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle and want far less crowded beach for yourself.
