Manali, is one of the top destination for Honeymooners, trekkers, couples or family. Each season in Manali have its own charm. I have already documented my things to do in Manali and in this post I will share places to visit in Manali.
Manali is one of those unique hill stations in India, that tops the list in every season, so I can't specify any "best time to visit Manali". If you are a snow lover then December to February is best time for you. March to June is good time for trekkers and honeymooners, while June to September is good for those who loves monsoon.
Club House
Club house is located in Old Manali, and is perfect place to do some adventurous activities. The place is good for people of any age, and is full with fun and activities.
Camp babali
This place is located few kilometers from Manali and is good for adventure activities like rafting camping etc. I enjoyed rafting here at 300 INR for 3 kilometers and also stayed at camp at 800 INR/per night
Hadimba devi temple is one of the prominent place to visit in Manali. The place have mythological significance and is related to Indian Epic Mahabharata. Hadimba devi temple is surrounded with sky touching deodar trees, which provided relaxation to tired travellers. It is a must visit place when you are in Manali.
Vashisth temple is known for its hot water spring, named after Rishi Vashisth. Best time to visit here is early in the morning, because during evening it is flooded with tourists. Do take dip in hot water spring because it has many medicinal benefits.
Mall road is the prime location in Manali, and it is the best place to do some shopping. The place have many shopping outlets and restaurant. You many buy cool winter accessories or handicraft items over here.
Buddhist monastery
Buddhist monastery is one of the important place to visit in Manali. I was lucky to visit here during buddha Purnima and enjoyed an awesome program over here. The place also have a restaurant , where food is available at a very low price. You should try to have your lunch here.
Manali has lot to offer to its visitors. It has one of most pleasant weather throughout the year. Whether you are a solo traveller or travelling with family you should visit the above mentioned places in Manali.
