After visiting few places in New Delhi, we have boarded into Punjab mail to reach Amritsar. Since we reached early in the morning, we have waited at the hotel lobby since early booking not available. The hotel we booked is very near to Golden Temple. Since it was Saturday there is heavy rush and it took more than 4 hours for the darshan. As soon as the darshan got completed, we hired an auto to go to Wagah Atari border for the evening ceremony. By the time we reached the ceremony got completed and we missed the chance to see the parade. We spent some time there and headed back to Amritsar and visited Jallianwala Bagh and return back to the station to catch our train to New Delhi.

Since it was already 8 PM, most of the temples in the city were about to close and we went to Prem Mandir, a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Lord Rama along with their respective consorts. It was a two store building completely constructed with Italian Marble.

The best time to visit to this temple is at the evening where one can enjoy beautiful light show. And also, there are so many sculptures depicting different mythological events.

After spending some time, we headed towards New Delhi from where our return journey scheduled.

The journey between Mathura and the New Delhi was horrible as the bus we boarded had issues during the transit and they have arranged another bus for rest of the journey.

Finally reached New Delhi by 1 AM in the morning and straight away went to the Airport.

Note:

Make sure to reach Wagah Atari border on or before 3 PM, so that you will get a seat for clear view of the parade.

Don't forget to buy peda prasad at Mathura.
