Hilton is set to bring its renowned Waldorf Astoria brand to India, with the Waldorf Astoria Jaipur scheduled to open its doors by 2027. This will mark the first-ever Waldorf Astoria hotel in India, with Dangayach Group owning the property and having signed a branding and management agreement with the luxurious hospitality brand. The hotel will be located on a sprawling 22-acre land off the Delhi-Jaipur highway, providing a breathtaking view of the Aravalli hills.
The property will boast 51 opulent pool villas and 174 guest rooms and will also offer 25,800 sqft of meeting spaces and 32,300 sqft of open lawns and courtyards for special events and celebrations.
Waldorf Astoria has been a pioneer in the hospitality industry and is renowned for its exceptional service and introduction of several firsts. Over a century ago, the iconic New York establishment became the go-to destination for the crème de la crème of American high society.
From round-the-clock room service and restaurant reservations to ensuite bathrooms and electricity on every floor, the Waldorf Astoria introduced revolutionary amenities that have become commonplace. Even the use of red velvet ropes to manage crowds outside a restaurant was first implemented at the Waldorf Astoria. It was also here that the famous Waldorf salad was created, a dish that has now become a staple at numerous establishments across America.
Joining Hilton's existing portfolio of 24 hotels and resorts across India, with 13 more in the pipeline, the Waldorf Astoria Jaipur promises to be a luxurious haven that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity to create a memorable stay for its guests.
