Nyoma is a chilly and temperate hamlet in the Leh area of Jammu & Kashmir. It is located on the banks of the Indus River and receives significant rainfall during the monsoon season. The hamlet is 147 kilometres from Leh and is challenging to get, but it is well worth the effort. The best way to visit Nyoma is on a day excursion from Leh to Chumathang.

The major draw of this undiscovered town is a Buddhist monastery and long walks through the quiet alleys. To visit Nyoma monastery inner line, permission is necessary.
