Travelling is a unique experience for each one of us; while some of us like to plan every second of a trip, others hop on a train, simply on a whim and go wherever life takes them. One such person is Younes Mchiche, a young traveller from Morocco, who decided to board a flight to India, with nothing but $100. He had no plans, no itinerary, just a fervent passion to capture the bursts of energy and riot of colours that make India truly incredible.
What All Did He Do?
For a man without a plan, Younes traversed through almost all terrains of India. Capturing the simple things in life, he visited some of the most outstanding places in the country – Roorkee, Shimla, Mumbai, Varanasi, Bikaner, Agra, New Delhi, Mukteshwar, Nubra Valley. Khardung La, Rishikesh and Narkanda, to name a few. In his video aptly titled 'The Best Year of My Life in 11 Minutes' Younes gives us a peek into his breathtaking journey across India.
While picturesque snow-clad mountains and endless beaches add a wow-factor to his video, what truly stands out are sublime moments of pure happiness and joy that he encountered during his travel. Visions of Younes dancing with crowds in Rishikesh, making a hot cup of tea in his tent in the middle of nowhere, attending a big-fat wedding, trying out jalebis, barf-ka-golas and scenes from the majestic Ganga aarti are sure to warm your heart.

This video reminds us of the eternal beauty that lies hidden within each corner of India. There's so much to witness and experience, if only we'd open our eyes, arms and hearts to let these glorious sights take over us, life would be wonderful!
So next time you wish to travel, don't ponder over it so much, just pack your bags and get going.
