Dabbaguli is within 120 km of Bangalore and right on the banks of Kaveri. This is a perfect place for a day trip and picnic. The last 10 to 15 km of the road is through dense forest and challenging trail but very scenic! So cars with high ground clearances are preferred! Dabbaguli is not very crowded like Sangam or Muthati but off-late it is becoming popular among offroad bikers and drivers.
Most of the vloggers would recommend taking Kanakpura road, but I would suggest, Attibele - Nanjapuram - Thalli - Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary - Dabbaguli. The road is wonderful to drive.
Also in Dabbaguli, there are two famous temples of Basaveswara and Dabbahullaswera, which can be visited. Please download the maps offline, because you will not get mobile signals in the jungle!
