Gold coast is a beautiful holiday destination on the east coast of Australia. I went there for 4 days with my husband in April of this year and had an amazing time. Here is the list of things we did and would recommend anyone planning to visit Gold Coast:Our stay: Novotel Hotel ( 2 nights); Watermark Hotel ( 2 nights). Both of these hotels are very close to surfers paradise beach. To move around: You can rent a self-drive car (Pick & drop at the airport) or use a "go card" to take a tram/bus for an unlimited travel @ AUD10 per day.Day 1: Currumbin Wildlife SanctuaryIt's a great place for animal lovers. You can hold a Koala or sit around with Kangaroos and create some wonderful memories of a lifetime. The Sanctuary has a lovely train to show you around. Please do wear comfy shoes because you will need to walk a lot.Address: 28 Tomewin St, Currumbin QLD 4223, AustraliaHours: Monday8AM–5PM; Tuesday8AM–5PM; Wednesday8AM–5PM; Thursday8AM–5PM; Friday8AM–5PM; Saturday8AM–5PM; Sunday8AM–5PMTicket Price: Adult @ AUD 49.95 per person and Child @ AUD 35.95 per person

Just as the sun disappeared into the West, we got some dinner, refuelled the gas, and headed back to where we started from, 4 days ago.
After our fantastic trip to OZ in Feb '16 , we were gripped by the ozie fever and decided to go there again for Xmas & New Year , and this time to Gold coast & Cairns
Gold Coast is a beautiful city with excellent weather and we were told that it has 9 times more canals than Venice . We stayed at the watermark Hotel which is Right at the Surfers Paradise station and about 10-15 min walk to Cavil Avenue where all the action happens. Fortunately our room was on the 20 th floor and we had an awesome view of the city
