About Gondal

Gondal, a city in the Indian state of Gujarat, is located at a distance of about 60km from the city of Junagarh. The city is famous for its craft heritage and bird watching. The most popular place to visit in Gondal is the Naulakha Palace, which is a perfect example of exquisite stone carvings and stunning balconies or jharokhas with an authentic spiral staircase. There is also a Swaminarayan Temple in the city that has an aura of devotion and beautiful wall murals of swamis who preached the faith.
