Known for the famous Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary, this is on the foothills of the Himalayas on the banks of the mighty Torsha River. This is a conserved place and is known for the elephant reserve and the number of one- horned rhino which the reason for touristry here. Also beautiful are the wet green sceneries around. Apart from the Torsha the other rivers draining here are Malangi, Hollong, Chirakhawa, Kalijhora, Sissamara, Bhaluka and Buri Torsha. Other amphibians and reptiles have also found home over here along with a variety of flora.

We got a short vacation just after Durga Puja.Spent two days at the heart of forest at Hollong in Jaldapara Wild Life Sanctuary in West Bengal,very close to Bhutan and Nepal.Moreover there is an elephant and rhino corridor with Assam also.....
