Almost around 50-60kms from Chennai, travelling northwards leaving behind the Port, towards Nellore, Andhra pradesh, this small village called Pazhaverkadu isn't a much happening place in its outlook. The village is surrounded by backwaters, and along the backwaters are many an islands which are home to a lot of birds, native as well as migratory. It does taste yummy more than the sound of it. Sadly i couldn't take it up during my visit as i was a little lazy to get out of my house early. Next visit though. Pazhaverkadu is on the way towards the Pulicat Bird Sanctuary, Nellore, AP. It will take you another hour towards the Sanctuary, so be a little planned if you intend to visit both the spots on the same day. I was lucky enough to get some shots regardless of me travelling during the odd time of the day. My next visit would be a better planned one and with more of eventful details of the fun i had there.
