Visit to Nepal Tourism Board at Kathmandu.
If you are planning for Annapurna circuit or base camp trek. You need to follow rules of NTB ( Nepal Tourism Board) and get permit before u start trek.
There are 2 forms for Annapurna circuit trek
1. TIMS ( Trekkers Information Management System )
2. Annapurna Conservation Area permit
This is must to do things as trekking in Himalaya are pleasant at the same time it is risky and these little effort will help to get help to you in any worst case.
Anyways the authorities will not allow u to enter ACA if you don't have permit 😜.
They charge Neplease Rupees 600/- and 226/- for it. ( fees mentioned is for SAARC Countries) for other countries its little high. You don't need permit if you are Nepali citizen.
Nepal is the only place where you can see the religious blend of Hinduism and Buddhism.
The people here have equal faith in both religion. Other then lord buddha a popular deity "Bhairava" is worshiped by both Hindus and Buddhist in Nepal. "Bhairava" is form of "Shiva" as per Hindus and is "Yamantaka" as per Buddhism.

We took mini bus from Kathmandu to Basisahar , its 5 hrs road journey. From there local jeep travel for 5 more hrs. Roads are amazing नाना , नानी और उनका पूरा खानदान याद आयेगा 😆.
Basisahar - Altitude : 760 mtr
Chaymche - Altitude : 1370 mtr
I missed the route and its beauty as it was bus travel as I have motion sickness but I managed it , my friends were worried about my trip. Here I am back home without single उल्टी 😁.

Day started with beautiful morning at Nagwal.
We had little argument cum discussion a night before and concluded to stick to original plan and continue to trek next day early morning.
Our trek leader was very strict, He made us complete the trek in time and it was real task to trek at night for so long, and it was worth.

Years after leh trip, once again, I got chance to get close to Buddhist philosophy and Mani Mantra. You can see Mani mantra carved on stones, written on mountain, Mani mantra playing in restaurants, Mani wheels placed in villages. Entire atmosphere is coloured with a sound of peace giving mani mantra.
Mani mantra is the six-syllabled Sanskrit mantra particularly associated with the four-armed Shadakshari form of Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion.

मणि मंत्र तयह तिब्बती बौद्ध धर्म का मूल मंत्र है । जो करुणा के बोधिसत्व अवलोकितेश्वर को समर्पित हैं। बौद्ध कथाओं के अनुसार अवलोकितेश्वर अपनी असीम करुणा में कोई भी रूप धारण कर के किसी दुखी प्राणी की सहायता के लिए आ सकते हैं। .

At bhakra village, we met a monk he told us about the Vajrapani bodhisattva, the statue is placed at bhakra. Vajrapani bodhisattva represent the power of buddha and is protector as per buddhism.

Met Aman and Rahul , young faces with hope and dream of better world smiling in manang village.
There is government health post in manang village and unlike most remote govt health post here doctor is available.

Trek started with jungle route and we crossed the narrow & windy landslide trail to tilicho base camp. This part of trek is really difficult but we like landslide trails 😜. .

We left our extra baggage at shree kharka and continued trek to tilicho base camp. Stay at village is pretty good.

Walk - Eat - Sleep & Repeat 😉
So we started trek after breakfast from Shree Kharka to Yak Kharka and ended the day at Ledar.
And a birthday celebration in Himalayas.
Life is not easy on mountains.

Altitude : 4880 Mtr
Walking in cold desert, crossing valley, suspension bridges after all we finally reached high camp (Thorong high camp), one of the best point in Annapurna circuit. From here u can enjoy the view of Annapurna III and Gangapurna range.
Weather was freezing cold at High camp.
