As we all know, due to the pandemic, various religious places were closed for a long time. But, with the festive season approaching, there's some good news for the devotees in Mumbai as the Government of Maharashtra has decided to reopen the iconic Siddhivinayak Temple and other religious places!

The devotees wouldn't have to wait much as the date of re-opening happens to be the first day of Navratri i.e. 7th October 2021.

Guidelines to be followed by the visitors

As per the guidelines issued by the Government of Maharashtra, all visitors need to be mindful about the Covid-19 guidelines. If you're planning to visit, you will be allowed to visit the temple only through the pre-booking of the QR code (required for entry). You can book QR codes through the Temple Trust’s application.

Secondly, a total of only 250 QR codes will be issued by the Siddhivinayak temple on an hourly basis.

Who is not allowed to visit the temple?

According to sources, the following visitors will NOT be allowed to attend the temple:

Children below 10 years of age

Pregnant women

Patients

Senior citizens above 65 years of age, and people without masks.

So don't forget to make the bookings as per the guidelines set by the authorities, and enjoy the festival season responsibly!
