We left mumbai by 6 o’clock in the evening by Vrl Bus Travels to make us reach Hospet by 11 o’clock next morning.
We reached Hospet and guided by out host Laxman to take a bus from the near local depot Huligi. After reaching Huligi we walked for a few minutes to catch another local bus from AGA HUGI to HANUMANHALL.
We reached the bazaar street by 1:30 where we were picked up by our host Laxman to take it to our homestay for next two nights.
After reaching we got fresh and discussed about how to go around Hampi and then once done we left for our lunch.
After lunch we rented activa and left for Gangawati for the famous coracle boat ride in the lake behind. Being monsoon season coracle boats were not allowed in the main river because of the flow in the tungbhadra river.
Post our small coracle boat ride and exploring the place around the lake/ dam, we left for the other ruins around the island with overcast climate it was always a challenge for us to be able to complete places in that time span we had.
After visiting a few temples which were closed during that period of time we left for the Anjaneya Temple, so called the birth place of Lord Hanuman. We had heard it was one of the best place to visit and spend your evening over there to enjoy picturesque view of the island and feel relaxed looking the sun go down.
The climb up towards the temple wasnt that easy specially people living in the city. it took us almost half an hour to reach at the top with the big rocks on the way up.
We couldnt witness the sunset that day thanks to the rain god who was in all mood to shower us with thundering and some heavy rainfall. Thats how our first day ended at the land of ruined temples.
We woke up early morning to go to the other side of the island where the main temples are where the main adventures of hopping the temples was gonna start. We were served with some mouth watering and heavy breakfast by our AirBnb hosts to go ahead with a busy day. We has to walk the so called the Hippie island which was known as Happy Island which later turned into Hippie Island, to catch a boat which would take to the other side of the island. We had just put out feet down on the other side to be covered with all rickshaw wala offering to show through the city of ruins and giving their best deals. After finalising the price for the day tour and places to be seen we headed towards our first temple for the day.

This is how it all ended up for us with happy memories and amazing pictures to cherish for life time.
