I reached Narkanda at 8am in the morning. I approached to a shopkeeper for the help to get a good and economical place to stay. He suggested me PWD Guest House Narkanda. But the bookings in that guest house starts at 12:00 so the person suggested me to do sight seeing till 12:00. After that with basic information, I approached towards Hatu Peak trek. Roads are in very good condition until Narkanda, Hatu peak is nearly 8 km from the peak. One can either trek for 8 km or go by bike or car. From there the peak can be accessed by bike or car but the road is difficult to use and only one car can climb at a time..
Hate Peak Top : At the top of the peak is a small wooden Hatu temple. Hatu Mata temple is the temple of Maa Kaali. On the first Sunday of Jeyastha to pay ritual here people comes in large number. There is an ancient stove like formation of rocks nearby the temple people called it Pandav Chulaha.
