I was here on a staycation along with my family. During this staycation, we stayed here for 2 nights. I am happy with the overall experience of our stay.
Location: Holiday Inn Express Whitefield is located very close to major IT companies, tech parks, malls and many other attractions of Whitefield. A perfect location for business visitors and their families as well. Public transport can also be easily accessed from this location. The hotel has good safety and security measures. The gates are well guarded and all the pieces of baggage are scanned.
The Hotel, The Room and my stay:
Our room was on the 5th floor with a queen sized bed. Though little small, the room was well equipped with the needed amenities and was perfectly lit to make it very cozy. The room had a separate bath area and separate toilet area. The bath area is sufficient for a shower and had a dispenser with body-wash soap. In one corner was a small wash basin and mirror. It was equipped with hand-wash, napkins, towels, hairdryer, dental kit, shaving kit, and comb. The room also had a full-sized mirror for dressing.
The room is provided with a small refrigerator and coffee maker with supplements. On one side of the bed was a decent study table and on one wall was a flat screen TV. The room service was prompt and can be reached via the intercom provided inside the room. Perfect lightings help in making the ambiance cozy. The room also has an electronic safety locker.
The room was centrally airconditioned with individual AC controller provided inside the room. There was 24 hours hot water supply in the taps. All rooms are accessed by electronic card keys.
The hotel also has a small but well-equipped gym. I love to stay at hotels where I can continue my fitness schedule. The gym has a good supply of water bottles and napkins.
The Food:
On the ground floor is a decent sized restaurant. They have a good menu comprising of quick bites, Indian food, European food, and desserts. All the food items are moderately priced. Everyday morning they server a buffet breakfast which has a good spread and mix of Indian and English food. During special occasions, they also arrange buffet dinner which has a limited spread. Need to appreciate the chef for the food taste and quality. We loved all the preparations, particularly the non-vegetarian dishes which were prepared in rustic Indian flavors.
They also server food at the leisure of your room. The menu is limited but they server it 24*7. Need to mention that this is one of the best offerings. If someone feels hungry at night or like in my case, my kid became hungry late in the night one day, at such critical times, this 24*7 food service comes as a savior.
The Staff:
The staff is very courteous and helpful. They always greet you with a smile and always try to make it comfortable. Nikhil, Urmila, Nikita and everyone else is very professional in their tasks.
I would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Express Whitefield for a cozy stay, caring staff, good food, strategic location and being on a budget!!
