Me and my friends, we reached Chikmangalore by around 11 Am. We had already booked our rooms at a nearby hotel (thanks to OYO rooms for their amazing offers😉). We got freshen up and ready for our break from exhausting and hotter city life.
We booked scooter's from an online portal, Royal Brothers, for our first day as we got only half a day in hand. Other means of transport like rental cars and jeeps are available, but expensive for half day trip as only fewer places we can cover. We started at around 1 Pm for our ride to Halebidu, which is around 30km from chikmangalore town. Temples always amuse me with their amazing architectural works.
