Day 2 of Kuala Lumpur started started a little slow but it ended up with many excitements.
Regalia Suites - The hostel I was staying offers the infinity pool access to all the guests on the 33 floor. So, I started my day by witnessing the awesome sun rise from there.
The top priority of the day was to visit Batu Caves- one of the most popular and iconic temple outside India as Malaysia has 7% Hindu population. This temple is on limestone hill and contains a series of caves. Temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan. One has to climb the flight of 272 stairs to reach the temple. The stairs are painted with very colourful and vibrant colors, attracting more number of travellers nowadays. Be aware of Monkeys on the way and try to avoid afternoon time to visit.
Temple is 15 km away from KL Sentral, You can either take Train or Cab to reach the temple. Temple offers a very surreal experience and it should be on everyone's list visiting KL.
Next destination on my list was Temple of Chinese Sea God: Thean Hou Temple. Again this temple is situated on hill and offers the wonderful views of the city. It was my first visit to any Chinese Temple, so I really cherished and enjoyed my each moment here. Historically, it is one of the oldest and largest temples in southeast asia.
On my way to Thean Hou Temple , I took a pit stop at Little India to have lunch. This place offers variety Of Indian , Malay and Chinese restaurant. Definitely this place felt like home :)
It started to drizzle a little on my return from the Temple which made the weather favourable to walk and visit the other part of Kuala Lumpur City.
Next to the museum, 1-2 min walk will take you to the Dataran Merdeka- also called the Independence Square. It is situated in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. This place is speared by a 95m flagpole, one of the world's tallest.
It is the right place to just sit and relax with your friends and chill out for sometime.
This city center place is ideal for local people to come and play in the field as well. In the British era, the square was used as a cricket pitch and called the Padang (field).
Kuala Lumpur is definitely the city which will make a strong impact on you . Within two days of my travel within the city, I was very comfortable, People are very friendly and helpful here for the tourists .Also, as my first International Trip , it will always be super special to me :)

I headed to kuala Lumpur City Gallery portraying the rich history of the city.
That was the end of my 2 day trip to Kuala Lumpur as I had to take a flight for Singapore in the evening. Having mixed emotions of leaving this beautiful place and excitement for the new adventures waiting in Singapore, I bid adieu to this amazing City, with the promise of visiting it again soon.
