Day 1

Land at Leh Airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport) and get transferred to the Hotel. Check-in and relax. Spend the day getting used to the high altitude. You can go for a walk nearby if comfortable.

Do not consume alcohol or smoke.

Do not exert your body. If at any point of time you feel tired or uncomfortable you need to rest down and relax.

Do not plan any physical activity on this day even if you are on your honeymoon.

Day 2

Spend the day exploring the beautiful city of Leh. Start your sight seeing in the following order.

1. Sensational confluence of the rivers Indus and Zanskar-Sangam Valley - This rafting is Grade 3+, the highest rating and ends at Sangam!

Best Time for River Rafting: November to March

2. The mysterious Magnetic Hill

3. Gurudwara Pathar Sahib

4. War Memorial Hall of Fame - Try to visit before 5 and buy the tickets as the counter closes later. Don't miss the evening light show at 8PM. Its one of a kind.

5. Leh Palace - Closes by 6PM

5. Spituk Monastery

6. Shanti Stupa - a panoramic view of the city best visited in the evening.

Day 3 - Pangong Lake

Leave on an exhilarating journey via the Chang La Pass, the world's third highest motorable pass!

Pangong Lake, situated at a height of 4350 meters above sea level, this is the world's highest saltwater lake.

Make sure you leave by 9:00 in the morning so you reach the lake before it gets dark.

Note: If you feel any breathlessness on the Changla pass immediately leave the place and don't stay back for photos or exert yourself. Take electrolyte if possible.

With crystal clear waters, in every breathtaking shade of blue imaginable, this lake is one of the best attractions of Ladakh. Two-thirds of this lake lies in China while a third lies in India and freezes completely during the winter months.

Stay at Pangong - 100 Sky Camps

Note - There is not network. There is no electricity. Generator is switched off at night so its better to get a torch. No hot water.

Day 4

This is going to be the best morning of your life waking up the beauty of Pangong Lake right from your camp.

Witness the awe-inspiring sunrise over the Pangong lake to begin your day and then Leave for Nubra Valley along the least travelled route.

This route is along the Shyok Valley of the Shyok river.

It is popularly known as the river of death since the route is a difficult one and hardly opted for.

If you leave by 9am you will reach Nubra Valley by evening and you can try the ATV Ride and two-humped Bactrian camel ride(its a must) in Hunder.

ATV Bike - 1000 Per Person ( Not worth it unless u are new to the experience)

Camel Ride - 300 Per Person Completely worth it.

Stay at Nubra - Apple Cottage

Day 5

Leave for the Turtuk village in the morning.

Not limited to the name, the village itself is one of a kind. This is the last major Indian settlement before the Line of Control, making it the last village on the Indo-Pak border!

You can explore the village and its rich history before heading back to

Turtuk will depend on the weather and the condition of the roads. If the Shyok route is not in good condition, you will travel back to Leh. In this case, visiting Turtuk will not be possible.

Day 6

With each day bringing a new adventure, why should today be any different? 

Take your first stop for the day at Diskit Monastery .

The beautiful, milky-white monastery is the oldest and largest one in Nubra!

Drive across Khardung La, which at about 5400 metres is one of the highest motorable passes in the world!

Travel along North Pullu and Khardung village with a halt at North Pullu for lunch.

You then continue onward to South Pullu and reach Leh by evening.

Depending on the time you reach Leh, you can go around and shop in the Leh Market!!

Day 7

Bid farewell to the Land of Lamas.
