It is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the Himalayan Black Bear, Kashmir Flying Squirrel, Himalayan Palm Civet, Himalayan Yellow-throated Marten, Barking Deer, Flying Fox, and other rare, endangered, and common species.
