Twelve days, seven cities, and the trip of a lifetime. Starting from December 1, the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will flag off a special tourist winter train that will start from Chandigarh and cover seven famous destinations in south India, all in one trip. The tourist train, called Dakshin Bharat Yatra, will depart from the Chandigarh Railway Station at 7am on December 1.
The journey will cover seven destinations: Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kovalam, Trivandrum, Kanyakumari, Tiruchirapalli and Tirupati.
