I have already shared
21 stunning pictures of my bike journey from Srinagar to Tangdhar, a small village near the North-Western LOC in Karnah Tehsil of Kupwara District. I stayed at Tangdhar for two days and two nights. While exploring Tangdhar village, I came to know about another border village, Teetwal, from the locals.
Teetwal is special because it is the last Indian village before the LOC on the North-West frontier of Kashmir. In fact, what intrigued me the most was that - from Teetwal, I could see thriving village, busy highway, lush green farmlands and colorful vehicles located in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) right across the Kishan Ganga river.

Relaxing at Daak Bangalow, Tangdhar, after an exhaustive bike journey from Kupwara, crossing the famous Sadhna Top. Misty evening and morning due to rains in Karnah region. Morning rain forced me to stay at Daak Bangalow for a longer duration. Rain God was playing hide and seek at Tangdhar. Serene view of Tangdhar when I was getting the bike serviced. A tiny helipad at Tangdhar, Karnah. When the rain finally stopped and weather became favourable, I decided to explore the border village of Teetwal. Crossing streams on my way to Teetwal. Kishan Ganga River making its first appearance on way to Teetwal. Farms on way to Teetwal. What is this beauty! Teetwal is surrounded by almost three sides from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). Hairpin bends on way to Teetwal. Road is really bad after the first check post. I can spend days admiring the beauty of this place! Entering Teetwal, the last village on the North-West corner of Kashmir where tourists can go. Instead of barbed wire, at Teetwal, Kishan Ganga river separates India and POK. Mountain behind the Indian Flag is in POK. Suspension bridge connecting India and POK. Two flags visible here are of Pakistan and POK. A busy highway in POK, the other side of Kishan Ganga river. This highway goes to Gilgit region. A thriving village in POK. Admiring Kishan Ganga River .
Sunset on my way back from Teetwal while enjoying the panoramic view of the surrounding mountain ranges.
