My Egypt trip memories are packed with only good moments. It gives me so much joy to look back and re-live those days. Here are some pictures from our Egypt days. The land of the Pharaohs mesmerized us enough to plan another trip soon.

Nevertheless, I get a quiver when I dive deep down into the memory lanes.

From a hotel where they played Bollywood songs to entertain us.

It's a story of lost and found in the mysterious land of pyramids. To capture the essence of our travel, we had borrowed a DSLR Camera from one of our friends. My husband had reminded the cost of the camera numerous times, so I was particularly careful with it. We roamed mostly in Cairo and Sharm el sheikh.

All the mandatory tourist spots and poses, we did it all and clicked away to glory.

Our trip back to Cairo from Sharm el sheikh was in a bus and we kept our bags including the camera bag in the cabin.

It was a long journey crossing the Suez canal. The bus dropped us at a station in the early hours of the morning. We were to take a taxi to the hotel from the station.

10 minutes into the taxi drive in through the streets of bustling Cairo city we remembered the camera. ( Imagine our plight.)

The driver enquired, we told him the situation. Fortunately, he knew the place, the tourist buses and the stops. He consoled us and started chasing the bus. We could breathe normally when we spotted the bus we came in, a white one. I vividly remember spotting it and letting out a sigh of relief.

We finally got the camera in hand, tipped the driver heavily and went ahead with our rest of the two days in Egypt.

This is my #crazysummerstory, I wouldn't be even writing this had there not been a happy ending to it.

The magic never ends in this land of mysteries.
