Depends on the type of destination you want to visit. If you want to capture icy mountains then uttarakhand, himachal pradesh and kashmir is the place for you. if you want architecture and culture then rajasthan is definitely a great place and it's cheaper too. If you want to capture beach sunsets then I suggest you to visit kerela just because of clean waters and perfect photgraphic destinations.
If u want to take a shot of natural beauty and snow capped mountains then visit Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, J & k. if u want to do wildlife photography then go to jim Corbett or ranthambhor nations park.
