It would be better if you come to Sikkim then book a vehicle here in Sikkim itself. it would be easier for you to travel Sikkim as you would need to book a Sikkim vehicle for sightseeing in Sikkim.

Hey Gavan, Better is come to NJP by train then book a cab to Gangtok. There are many local tourism offices at Mall road , Gangtok. You can book there and they will also arrange your permits. Rough itinerary : Day1 - Reach NJP and go to Gangtok Day2 - Local sight seeing of Gangtok Day3- Nathula Pass and Baba Barbhajan Mandir Day4&5&6 : North Sikkim tour Then you can go to South Sikkim, Darjeeling, Meghalaya and Tawang ( For Meghalaya and Tawang, you have to come Guwahati from NJP). Happy travelling!!!!

Yes you can travel solo to Hampi. you will get autos or car on rent which takes Rs800-1200 per day to take you to nearby places a day. You have to reach hospet railway station where you get lots of stays, restaurants and transport options. To know more, please visit my profile where I have made a 2days itinerary and will be happy to help you if you want any more infos. Do let me know about how you enjoyed in Hampi.

Just hire a moped and explore around..it’s one of the top preferred destinations to travel solo. Stay in a hostel which is a cost effective alternative and you’ll have other travellers for company.

If you like to see the snow or the northern lights - Id suggest go to any northern hemisphere technically any country above Himalayas - Turkey, Europe (still recovering from the beauty of their well lit Christmas lights), US, Canada (could be too cold too) if you like the warmth in Summer, you should check out the southern hemisphere (Argentina, Peru, New Zealand, Australia) if you have more specific questions - I can help to answer

If you have time on your hands and would like a specific itenary, I would like to help. I planned a trip to Europe last November (for the first time) and was very pleased to not have booked a tour package. I got in touch with a local driver there (Indian) because Parisians still not very familiar with English. Europe is best travelled as a backpacker and the public transport is available for inter-city and intra-city. Paris is best explored by foot and public transport and can save a lot while giving you the experience that would be otherwise missed. I can help you get in touch with them for a more customized trip. Places like Mont Serrat, Lyon in France and Zurich, Interlaken in Switzerland. And since its still the winters, you should travel the countryside of Switzerland via train (it has breathtaking views)

Option 1- Zostels - . They are becoming really popular in cities and even in tourist places. Zostels are mostly for solo travelers or group of friends ready to share space with other fellow travellers( not suggested for family) 2. OYO- get a good option for any kind of travellers.. especially if you are more in staying in hotels. 3. Homestays- my personal favourite in the recent time are Homestays. So if you are a person who is travelling to really know the local people the culture then you can go for this option as it gives you lot more exposure to the place through its local people.. and it’s a very different kind of experience. (Homestays are not available in every places) Hope it was helpful. 🤗

"Zostel", they are available in around 8 major travel destinations. Its the best place to stay for solo travelers and for small groups as they provide shared accommodation at low price. The best part of Zostel is that u get to meet right kind of people and the experience is unique. You can get similar budget hostels in website called www.hostelworld.com

April to September is the tourist season and weather is mild and dry in most of the country, with warm days. Go to beaches like Cogee, Balmoral, Avalon, etc. Try the Rocks Ghost Tour after nightfall, i've heard it is lot of fun.

👉 munnar munnar munnar ... magnificent place. :)
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Munnar and Wayanad are both nice options, with plenty of natural beauty. Munnar is more accessible with plenty of things to do. It gets a lot more tourists since easier to reach from other popular tourist destinations in Kerala, like Alappuzha, Periyar Tiger Reserve, Kochi airport, Fort Kochi, Cherai etc. I prefer Wayanad cause I find it to be quieter. Periyar is also beautiful with forests and an enchanting lake. Difficult to say the cost, cause all ranges of accommodations are available. You can get decent homestays within 1500 - 2000.
