Hi, First of all, I am so happy that you chose to wander in Sikkim. Let me tell you, Sikkim was never on my mind to travel to until someone spoke to me at length about this hidden gem. The closest airport to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim is Bagdogra.
So first land in Bagdogra, or by train to Siliguri. Head to Gangtok by road.
You will require 2 days for a trip from Gangtok to Lachung and back(if you are planning to. visit Lachung) Then you can head in other direction to Pelling (Gangtok to Pelling Via Namchi)after checking out of your hotel in Gangtok.

Hey Ritika, For nice hotels book at OYO. For cheap accommodation book zostels or hostels at www.hostelworld.com. In Allepay, you can spend one night at Backwaters houseboat but that would be little costly. Happy travelling!!!!!
