Well... my wife and I completed Jaipur (including sight-seeing and shopping) in 2 days. We hired an autorickshaw for a full day and he knew most of the places. We booked the auto guy from our Hotel.

Hey Soumyajit, Its nice that you are planning a trip to jaisalmer, basically trip to jaisalmer hardly take 2-3 days. you can go for under sky(camping at night), visit jaisalmer fort, you can go for safari.

UpvoteCommentIf you are planning to go just for one day than you can go to Murthal. There you can find 3 major Restaurant Sukhdev Dhaba, Haveli and New Haveli i guess don't remember the exact name sorry but they are close to each other within one or two kilometres. Otherwise you can plan to go to any lounge or restaurant in South Delhi mostly Satya Niketan or Hauz khas.

UpvoteCommentHey! Spiti is a cold desert and a remote region situated high in the Himalayas. Budget totally depends upon person to person. You can easily travel to Spiti in around INR 6000 to INR 15000. Though it involves a lot of discomfort but if you are a backpacker, loves staying in small homestays, prefer travelling in local transport; then you can easily travel to Spiti Valley under INR 7K. I too have been facing many such issues.At more than 2 occasions, as I finished my final draft & clicked ''Publish'' , all my & text & images went for a toss ,the whole synchronization was disturbed. I tried everything but finally had to re-edit the entire article. Similar thing happens while importing a blog as well ..

Travelling via Dhaka is the best route between Kolkata and Agartala as it saves 70% of time and money. A recent inititaive has been taken by the governments of India and Bangladesh of starting a direct bus between Kolkata and Agartala going via Dhaka. If you want to go by your own car you need to have a visa prior to your travel. You can apply for visa at high commission or consulates in Agartala, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi. Secondly, I think you have to provide a security deposit at border which is quite high as compared to the actual price of the car.
