It's better to wear full trekking pants in the monsoons in the western ghats. If you get leeches stuck on despite that, salt is an effective way to get them off.
Hey Chetan, you can use a lighted cigarette to detach the leeches by heating it, you can apply some DEET, alcohol or table salt (best remedy). You read more about the same here: https://www.wikihow.life/Remove-Leeches
Hi Subhashis,
If chilly weather is not a concern then you can easily plan your trip to Bhutan during December. One of the best time to visit this destination is during Spring (March-May) and Autumn (September-November) when the weather is pleasant. Following guide will help you in planning your Bhutan trip.
December is a costly month to be in Goa! as you rised this question, i guess that you are concerned about the prices, try some other off-beat places rather than Goa. and coming to your point, depending on the hotel you reside, they range from 3500? to 15000? per day during the Christmas and New year seasons. Happy Married life by the way! Cheers!
Well... my wife and I completed Jaipur (including sight-seeing and shopping) in 2 days. We hired an autorickshaw for a full day and he knew most of the places. We booked the auto guy from our Hotel.

I tried everything but finally had to re-edit the entire article. Similar thing happens while importing a blog as well ..
Travelling via Dhaka is the best route between Kolkata and Agartala as it saves 70% of time and money. A recent inititaive has been taken by the governments of India and Bangladesh of starting a direct bus between Kolkata and Agartala going via Dhaka. If you want to go by your own car you need to have a visa prior to your travel. You can apply for visa at high commission or consulates in Agartala, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi. Secondly, I think you have to provide a security deposit at border which is quite high as compared to the actual price of the car.
