Hello Mrudul, I did not visit Norway from India but the aim was same! There are many places that you can go in Norway to see them. There is a band in the nordic countries, above which they are visible. Some of the places that fall in that category are: Bodo, lofoten Islands, Alta,Andoya,Senja, Harstad, Kirkenes,Lakselv,Narvik, and the Northern lights capital, Tromso. I chose to go to Tromso and belive me it was amazing. But there is high chance of also not being able to see them because of multiple factors! So you really have to be lucky to see them. I did not book any tour, we just drove off, into the wilderness and had the amazing show on display! you can read about my experience here: https://www.tripoto.com/trip/tromso-norway-chasing-the-northern-lights-photosabroad-5c5058a3098bb

Hi Shashank, You can take direct bus from Delhi to Bir. Baijnath is around 12kms from Bir, you can take a local bus or taxi to reach Bir from Baijnath. You can stay at Rooms near Garden Cafe or somewhere near the landing site. Paragliding starts at Rs 2000 and GoPro option is good. You can visit several monasteries around the area, visit Dharmalaya, 4 tables cafe and many other spots. Find more details in the articles attached below. Keep travelling!

Hi Shashank, 1. You should book bus till bir as fare is same for both places and if you book till baijnath then you have to pay for taxi which would be 200-300 buks extra. 2. Regarding stay option if you are visiting with friends or going on solo trip you can book a bed in zostel it would cost you around 400 per person which is quite cheap. 3. You can book paragliding package in 2000 bucks and GoPro will cost 500 extra which is quite good option. 4. For places around you can visit palampur which is 45 minute bike ride from bir.

Hi Sourav, The budget per head can range from Rs 9000-18000 per head depending on the way you travel. Average hotels cost Rs 1200 per day. Food per day per head will cost around Rs 500. Travelling independently in North Sikkim is difficult due to limited shared vehicle and public transportation option. So you can book your own vehicle with any tour company for the duration of your travel. The cost starts at Rs 2500 per head for 3D/2N for basic trip to all these places you mentioned. Below I have attached some trips to North Sikkim and few stay recommendations to help you plan your trip. Keep exploring!

I doubt, there is any perfect place in South India for witnessing the Milky Way. Having said that, i have partially seen it at Sharavathi Valley in early November and it was beautiful. Though it was not as clear as what one can see @Spiti and @Sarchu. Good Luck :)

Hi Siran, Depends on what you prefer in the destination you are travelling to. Tirana is the capital city of Albania so for shorter duration it will be a better option as you can understand the country better. But if you are interested in visiting beautiful lakes and castles then you should head to Shkoder. Keep travelling!
