Hi Ajay, Best time to visit Tosh is from March to June though Tosh is amazing all year round. Several stay options are available in Tosh. Mayashivshakti and Yamuna guesthouse have a great view. Reach Barshiani by cab. Walk 3 kms up to Tosh. Go to Pink Floyd or Hill Top or Shiva Mountain. They have the best views. If you want, you can trek to Kheerganga.
There is another glacier trek from Tosh that not a lot of people know about. Ask locals in Tosh and they will guide you.

For backpack I'd ask you to carry sleeping bag if you have and also yoga mat. one jacket. and as least clothes as you can take. because there'll be times when you have to walk a lot. and since you are going on mountains, you might have to trek a lot. also take safety things like pepper spray or a taser if you have. might help in worse case.

Though it is wet season there, it is still perfect time to explore the place as it never rains all through the day. So rain should not stop you from exploring these amazing places. UpvoteCommentHi Su, If you have single entry visa you can travel to Hanoi in north Vietnam from Mumbai then travel down south till Ho chi minh city by bus or flight (they are cheap from hanoi to HCMC) . You can then take a bus into Phnom Penh in Cambodia from there. And then you can enter Laos from Cambodia overland or by air and take a flight back to Mumbai from Luang Prabang after exploring the place. If u wanna explore Mumbai in one day, best option is book a ticket for bus in Mumbai darshan. Which will cost you max to max rs300*to 400*u can usually get discounts on the app of various bus booking app also.
