I have returned from trip to Manali and major sight seeing places in Himachal Pradesh. Me and my husband returned from this trip on 3rd of June, 2017. Yes, you can do it without a guide. You will always find people on the trail to tag along with. You can go to the tour operator's shop near Snow Lion Cafe in Mc Leodganj before starting the hike and check if the tents are available at the top.

Hi Surbhi, October is a great time to visit South East Asia. You can go to Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia or even Thailand. All these places are economical and easily doable in 5-6 days. Hi Akash, here are a few details about the trek that will help you get started: Starting Point: Barshaini and Tosh. From Barshaini, you could either take a cab or walk for an hour or so to reach Tosh. The Kheerganga trek is 14kms long, and is 6-7 hours long. Hi Gaganpreet, You could visit any of the following places for a weekend getaway - In Himachal Pradesh, Nahan (90kms away from Chandigarh), Chail (103kms), Parwanoo (30kms) or Kasauli (45kms). In Haryana, Morni Hills, which is 45kms away. If you are looking for campsites, you will find plenty in Kalka (28kms), Dharampur in Solan (30kms) or Barog (60kms).
