People usually start from Lonavla for a 14kms trek. Although you can go on cars till fanasrai and on bikes further more reducing the trek kms.

Hi Shaily, You can travel to Leh till early September. October usually sees snowfall in Leh, due to which, some roads may be closed and also, temperatures drop to sub-zero during the nights.
