Yes! There are many homestays in Chopta for spending the night. You can start your trek rhe next day to Tungnath Mahadev and further to the Chandrashila summit. You can reach back Chopta by evening comfortably.

There are some hostels, you can try go stops as there is a campaign going between tripoto and goibibo, they really have good views. I stayed last week for 4 days, it was good.

Kheerganga Won't be open in the month of January, because of Heavy Snowfall.

Hi, Depending on your budget you can try from various home stays along the beach which are cheapest of the lot (manan guest house or shreyas guest house or shara beach villa) and if you wanna lavishly stay try kashid heritage resort as the food here is good and staff very cooperative or saffron stays sanskriti Kashid Happy stay and wandering

Nainital is closest if you are planning to go to the mountains, other than that banaras, mathura/vrindavan, ayodhya, agra, rishikesh, jim corbett etc are good options. If you can taje one extra day off then there are a lot of other options available

Budget hotel near mall road is samiru manali..
try tasty bites chaap and choley-kulcha thaali is a must try... better than many known restaurants there..
to travel to solang prefer going in tempo traveller... taxi rates are high...- they might charge you 300-700 from manali to vasisth
