Hi Vamsi,
Each corner of the country has hill stations that are ideal for a summer getaway. In North India, you can go to the popular hill stations in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Places like Ooty, Kodaikanal, Coorg, Chikmagalur and Munnar are cool cities in South India too. Some of the best holiday destinations are nestled in the Northeast, so you can also plan a trip to Darjeeling, Sikkim or Meghalaya.
Hope this helped!
Hey Neeti, Thats actually a difficult question to answer, maybe you can start with a location which your mom is very familiar with and once you build her trust, you can explore other places. Good day, Cheers !!
Hey,
Parents, especially in India, can be super over protective. Even though it comes from a place of love and concern, it can prevent us from being independent and self-reliant individuals. Solo travelling is therefore really important!
Internet has been a helpful tool for female travellers to let their loved ones know that it's okay to travel alone. There are lots of solo female travellers out there who openly share their experiences that you could share with your mom. A genuine and successful example is Shivya Nath, who has been travelling alone for years. Look within your social circles too; you might find some role models that could influence your mom's decision about letting you travel alone. Keep sharing inspiring and positive stories about solo travel with her (if she keeps seeing the negative news and nothing positive, it's unlikely for her to feel confident about you travelling alone). Attaching a few helpul articles below!
Other than that, take small steps and give her some time and space to get used to the idea of you travelling alone too. You can suggest going for a one day trip initially, and then suggest longer trips. To get started, you can also go alone with a reliable travel group.
As I mentioned, since parents generally don't allow their daughters to travel alone as they're anxious about their safety, you can assure them that you will keep them informed about your whereabouts. Share your location or check in every once in a while via call or text so that they don't worry.
Hope this helped!!

We have recently been to rajasthan. it took us 10 days and we had covered Jaipur, chittaurgarh, udaipur, mount Abu, Jaisalmer, and then back to Jaipur. you can check my trips in my profile
Go to chopta and start following the trail ,you can come back same day as well...no such expense is required ....no need of joining any tour company ...you can do it free
The only cost you have to pay if you take stay in Chopta otherwise the trek from Chopta to Tungnath is completely free and you don't have to pay a single penny for that. Last year I was there with my friends during Diwali time. The trek to Tungnath is easy but trek on snow is quite difficult, so make sure carry proper trekking shoes.

Hello.
Undoubtedly, Kedarkanth trek is one of the best winter trekking of India. It is moderate to steep and heavy snow fall can also make it a little bit difficult. But as a reward you be will be able to see some breathtaking Himalayan views. Some tips according to my experience are:
1. You should not be obese, Your BMI really matter, especially at high altitude. You can practice at home by walking 4-5 km daily before your trek begin.
2. Boost your stamina, by eating health food stuff.
3. You will going to face extreme skin dryness so don't forget to carry a cold cream and sun screen too, as sun rays quite sharp at high altitude.
3. Carry some candies and dry fruits with you. protein bar, chocolates are also good to reduce fatigue and weakness.
4. remain in group if possible.
5.Keep backpack light as much as possible, you should carry a light rain coat, your gadgets like mobile chargers, earphones, extra mobile, torch and shawl (it will protect you in harsh weather) .
6. Drinking water usually safe at high altitude, but you can carry your own bottle, don't drink too much water.
7. Follow and prefer footprints for safe trek, A stick is recommended to ease trekking, it will also protect against wild animals sometime.
Hi Dhairya, where in Bhutan are you traveling to? Thimphu, Paro, Punakha are the most popular places where people usually travel to, but you can also go to Haa Valley, Bumthang and other places as well. Here are some options for staying, but since you've not specified your destination, I'm not sure if you'll find something suitable or not. Otherwise, you can check out on our website for more options!
