Smit trek is one of the scenic experiences that you can go for if you are planning trekking in Shillong. Although if you are an experienced trekker then I would suggest go for Dawki Trek, As this Trek through the steep hills and rock and reach to the top of the hill. Umden is an ideal getaway nestled in the lush green forests with natural miracles in abundance. Embark on a trek through the tea gardens, strawberry fields, subtropical and bamboo forests for a revamping experience.
Personally, I found this three trek breathtaking and worthy otherwise there are some more options. Good Luck!!

If you are alone and you have the ability to travel in a sharing option then for two days in sikkim you need minimum 9000/-...
there are so many places in sikkim .. i would like to give the basic plan which most of the travelers have been chosen.
plan 1:
njp/bagdogra to Gangtok via rongpo( don't miss to buy zong, a local wine product and trust me it was wow)
stay in gangtok
next day sight seeing in seven places near Gangtok by taking cars
stay in gangtok ( dont forget to walk around in the mg marg at the evening)
last day book a car or go with sharing facilities to changu and new baba Mandir. you can't reach upto nathula, the Indo china border due to heavy snowfalls at that time.
take a ropeway ride in changu
then come back to Gangtok and night stay there.
next day get ready for taking train or flight. don't be late as there is a hige traffic problem in the sebok road.

Look for guest houses at Auroville. It's worth every penny you're spending and the main city is not too far from there as well. 10 to 12kms can be covered in just 20 minutes. Moreover, you can hire scooty or a bike from these taverns.
Cheers:)
happy journey.
There's a Punjabi dhaba with the best North Indian food in the entire city. And this by far the best option you've got. But in case you're in need of fast food, you can visit any cafes at the French colony, cause they give you veg options too. And Adyar Ananda bhavan is a pure vegetarian restaurant but best for breakfast alone. So these are your options. Have fun:)
You can do Chennai - Pondicherry - Velankanni -
From Velankanni you can go to Dindigul and visit Kodaikanal from there and then proceed to Coimbatore and visit Ooty
