As far as trek is concerned Triund is the better option whereas Chopta is famous for its lush green beauty and panoramic view. Triund trek starts off in a group and you can approach a guide. It's of approximately 8kms where you finally reach a beautiful temple at the top. camping is a must to enjoy at top. Snow will not be available in this season so to add onto beauty you can try this trek in the month of Dec-March

Hey, lets say you are travelling from mumbai, the to and fro flight charge will be somehwere around 13-15k , so you will hardly be left with 5 to 7 grand, and even if you stay in bangkok for about 2 days accomodation is gonna cost you around 1k, so it might be a bit difficult for you to cover most places with the remaining amount, but if you are cool with that then its fine, you can stay at "Baan Pra Nond Bed" And Breakfast is complementary.
you can start of your day by visiting the grand palace, then head on to bangkok museum, then you can relax a bit in lumpini park and have lunch in china town, and then you go to erawan shrine and yeah dont miss the street food in thailand. since bangkok is known for its nightlife, you still can visit a lot of placesat night such as wat arun, and take a walk around Chatuchak Market.
this would drain off your current budget for sure, so if you are willing to spend a little more, then you can take a trip to pattaya which is amazing in its own way.
so just maybe give it a thought

There's a lot of places to see in Bangkok! If you're looking for beautiful monasteries or temples to shoot, try Wat Pho and Wat Phra Kaew. If you like dogs, visit True Love Cafe. If you like the nightlife, you can look up Rooftop Bar and several other clubs on the internet. And if you want to shop, check out the Chatuchak Weekend Market. There's also Siam Park City if you want to spend a day at an amusement park with killer rides.
