I would suggest go with the pass. It will be more economical and also make your mobility easier. You can always skip the attractions which you don't want see, but it gives a good feel of the city and spend as much time at the attractions of your interest.

How many days you are planning !? Whether is is a honeymoon trip or simply a solo or friends leisure trip. A friend of mine last week came from her one week Bali trip and said it was great. She did opt for a package and booked everything online and for local travel arranged taxi through hotel.

UpvoteCommentYou have plenty of places to go around Pune, Lonavala and Mumbai with low budget and less number of days. The famous ones close by are Mahabaleswar, Satara, Matheran and Alibaug.

Zostel kochi and vagamon! And varkala lost traveler! It's in kochi also! I personally didn't like kochi zostel! Lost traveler would be the best option!

If u mention the route it'll b easy to discuss. BTW you can enter arunachal from guwahati(Assam). from there you can go via tezpur to bombdila to tawang (best place in West arunachal). and if you want to go via dibrugarh, then you can go through pasighat to aalo to menchukha (which is best place in North arunachal).

Hi Parvathi.. Depends on your budget.. You can take a connecting flights to Kullu which is about 40km from Manali. Or you can go by train but its would take nearly 2 days I suppose. So it would be better to split up and go via flight to Delhi and from there its an overnight bus travel to Manali. However, in case you have motion sickness, I would suggest take a train from Delhi to Kalka and from there you can jump on to a toy train to Shimla and experience the scenic beauty along the trail. A lot of options depending on your budget and preferences :)
With respect to accommodation, there are many 3 star hotels in both Manali and Shimla and you can easily book them from goibibo or booking.com. Would suggest to book something close to the market so that you can easily get Transport to go from one place to the other. In case you are traveling with friends, you can also opt for Hostel stay like Zostel. Hope this helps!

There are two routes one directly from Delhi an one from chandigarh..I would suggest you go from chandigarh and from there reach manali it's a 6 hour drive then you can explore manali for a day or two then go to manikarn, and you can enjoy rafting there you can also visit mandi, kullu with this then reach shimla...there are lots of places to explore there

It depends on your place of interest. If it is mountains or hill stations - Visit Kufri a station above Shimla. Best way to travel: Delhi to Kalka by Train and then Kalka to Shimla by a toy train. ( Himalyan Queen)
Book tickets in 2 months advance. If you want to visit plains, they are best in winters. - Go to Khajuraho- Madhya Pradesh. Ajanta or Ellora Caves in Maharashtra, For beach destination plan: Andaman I would not recommend GOA for your honeymoon trip.

If December hill stations will be super chilled and Kashmir will be a little tough choice. Though snowfall there will be awesome if you can bear the cold. Else you can visit Kerala especially it's back waters or You can got Rajasthan.

I stayed in this guest house - https://www.airbnb.co.in/trips/v1/bcaec332-cf2f-4c61-ba7b-88a2995972b8. No food facilities, but has kitchen in case if you want to cook. Its a walking distance from Laxman Jhula.

Depend on how many people you are and in what type of hotel you're staying.from where you're traveling? August is not good month for north Sikkim. heavy rainfall and chances of landslides.

For the below itinerary Day 01 land GAU 13.20 have lunch and Kamakhya darshan stay overnight in Gau. Can have dinner at Brahmputra river cruise if you wish to and close the day Day 2 Check out Gau after early breakfast and packed lunch and travel to Jakrem hot water spring driving time 5 hrs have bath in hot water and river, have your packed lunch there and move to Mawsynrom 30-40 min drive have darshan at Shivalinga cave and return to Shillong 2.30 hrs drive and check in hotel have a quiet dinner and sleep. Day 3 Shillong local - start with Shillong peak Elephanta falls, Wards lake, Medical college and IIM campus, Police Bazar etc. Lunch at Tripura Castle and Dinner at Hotel Pinewood and rest. Day04-Early breakfast and packed lunch travel to Dwaki .Have your lunch there and return to shillong Day 5 Travel to Cherrapunjee see water falls and cave, have lunch at cherrapunjee resort and return to hotel in shillong and rest. *Alternatively* If weather is good can straight go to resort in cherrapunjee and trek to live root bridge come back to resort have lunch and after that see the caves in afternoon and return to Shillong. Day 6 Check out after breakfast and move to Bara pani 30min drive enroute Gauhati enjoy there as per time available and then go to Gauhati airport for flight. Vcehile -Innova or any good SUV
