UpvoteCommentI would suggest go with by own no need of package required because nothing is too costly there.
Good reasonable hotels are available easily. Also for camping you can opt for package around Rs 1800..2000 including rafting.

You can take a train from Ahmedabad and reach Billimora Railway station and take a bus/cab from there to Saputara...

I believe u must be coming from bangalore so u can follow this itinerary -
for chikmagalur 2 days will be enough.... places to visit :
1. baba budangiri
2. z point at baba budangiri
3. mullayanagiri(highest peak in karnataka)
4. hirekolale lake 5. jhari waterfall(must visit... u have to go by share jeep, the waterfall is covered with the coffee plantation) the go to sakleshpur(1 day will be enough), places to visit:
1. manjarabad fort
2. bisle view point
3. magahalli waterfall then if u want u can visit beach area like mangalore and udupi or u can go to madikeri(coorg) i.e. a hill station.
mangalore:
1. tannirbhavi beach
2. panambur beach
3. someshwar beach
4. have authentic gudbud ice cream from pabba's ice cream cafe (mangalore is the ice cream capital of india) then u can go to udupi(50kms from bangalore)
visit st. mary's island that is a very beautiful island .
2. maravanthe beach (one side river and one side beach) I had been in mangalore for 1yr u can ask me if u want to know anything else.

Am also planning Spiti towards the end of June. I plan a solo trip but wouldn't mind joining like minded fellow travelers. However, I plan an unplanned trip without any time limit. If you're okay with that.

Hi, these are the things you should take care of while travelling:-
1. If you are travelling alone , make sure you are having proper knowledge of your vehicle.
2. Do a proper planning for each destination such as time of departure and arrival so that you can enjoy your whole trip.
3. Look after the check posts , where you needed to do registration for your bike 4. Get knowledge about the places/attraction about the cities/destination from where you are going to ride through.
5. Take care of the travelling days while you enter the jammu - kashmir highway , now as per the govt instructions the highway will be closed for the civilians on some days in a week. Happy journey

Sun island resort Paradise island resort and Adaaran Club Rannalhi are some of the resorts which will come in a low budget Otherwise you can look for hotels also if you want more budget friendly
