During the winters, Spiti turns into a snowy wonderland. You can either embark on a simple snow expedition in Spiti or make things more challenging by embarking on a snow leopard expedition. If you are a good driver who loves travelling off-road, then Spiti can offer you the perfect challenge. You can take the route to Spiti via Kinnaur, as the roads there are known to be winding while offering spellbinding views of snow-clad mountains. Make sure to ask about the road conditions to locals, as the roads tend to get blocked due to snow. Kinnaur and Spiti witnesses harsh winters, so it's suggested that you should travel in a 4X4 SUV or other sturdier cars. In fact, there are plenty of tour operators taking tour groups for snow expedition in Spiti. That's another better option if you are not comfortable with driving car on your own on such routes.
Spiti transforms into a brilliant wonderland covered in powdery-white snow during winters each year. Sights like frozen lakes, waterfalls, and snow-covered mountains dotted with pugmarks of snow leopards are common. Visiting Spiti in winters is a once in a lifetime opportunity especially for travellers who love extreme winter adventures and enjoy activities like snow trekking, frozen waterfall climbing, and viewing the elusive snow leopard. The valley, due to the absence of crowds, is quiet and calm. During the winter months, Spiti can be approached only from the Shimla side. Since the place is almost landlocked due to heavy snow cover, be prepared for a tough trip physically as well as mentally. Duration of winter: Winters in Spiti extend for 5 months i.e. from October to February.
Average Temperature: The average temperatures range between 0°C in the day to around -40°C in the night.

Hi Prateek :) In a span of 3 Days, you can explore a lot actually! You can explore the popular beaches including Vagator Beach, Anjuna Beach, Calangute Beach, Sinquerim Beach, Candolim Beach, Arambol Beach etc. Visit Aguada Fort as well :) It'll be great to look at the sea from the fort. You'll find some great beach shacks in Candolim & Calangute. For partying, I would suggest Club LPK, but you can also go to Curlies, which I absolutely love!

Its the peak season for goa, pre book your accomodations. bike hire can be done once you have reached there. if planning to stay in north goa, would suggest to book cottages and villas at vagator beach or arambol beach. you will find pretty good deal.
avoid staying at baga or calangute beach, these are too much crowded places.
In my solo trip I prefer to stay away from crowd & meet less people.in solo trip u must carry first aid.high ankle shoe is gud if u r comfortable must carry flip flap chapel.

Chandarnahan Lake Trek is among the most scenic treks with a moderate to high difficulty level, depending on your expertise. it has the altitude of 13,900 ft, so aclimitization is necessary if you are not used to being at such a height often. It takes around 6 days to complete this trek. You can start from Janglik, which is the base camp for this trek and is 9-10 hours away from Shimla. The basic route for Chandarnahan trek is Janglik - Dayara - Litham - Chandarnahan Lake - Litham - Dayara - Janglik You can find snow-clad mountains, lush green vistas and little villages along the way. And you are accompanied by the magnificent Pabbar river.

Hi Jitu, It's heart warming to know that you are looking to explore Darjeeling and it's surrounding in about a week's time. However, I really feel that a week is too long to explore only Darjeeling and it's surrounding. Only a fortnight back my friends and I explored entire North Bengal and also touched upon bordering areas of Bhutan, Sikkim and Assam and all these in just 8 days.
If you believe you have about 7 days to explore Darjeeling and it's surrounding, you can message me directly on Tripoto and i can share my itinerary with you. regards,
Sudip
