Best season is October to March and some of April.

I have been there last year November, less crowded, peaceful place. October to March is the best time to visit.

upvoteUpvotemessageComment

Heyy Deepa!! new year is something to celebrate in your own way!! It all depends on what you prefer!! If you are a person who loves the city life or the rich life go on for indian cities like mumbai if you prefer the ocean and the beaches then go for goa And if you prefer nature and treks and all , go ahead and choose the mountains like in manali And if you have the budget you can go abroad to Thailand or Bali or Paris!! I hope this helps!! Have a great year!! :))

SUMMERS:- summers begin to set in from the Month of May and last till June. During this time, the climate here is moderately cold yet pleasing. In this season the temperature ranges between 7°C - 18°C. The days are pleasant while the nights are cold. Summer season is ideal for a spiritual visit to the Badrinath shrine and also apt for sightseeing trips.TRIP ESSENTIALSDon't forget to pack light woollen clothing as Badrinath remains a lot cold even in the summers. Along with it, one must carry a list of essentials including a day pack, a pair of comfortable walking shoes/ trekking shoes, trekking pants, windproof jacket, sun cap, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, lip balm, walking stick, personal toiletries and torch/ flashlight with extra batteries. One must carry a water bottle and some dry fruits, along with energy bars. To avoid dehydration, energy drinks like electoral (ORS)/ Gatorade are also vital to carry.

You can visit Tosh, Kheerganga, Prashar Lake, Manali. However since this is gonna rain heavy there, you need to be causious while travelling.

In Himachal you can visit:- Naggar, Manali, Kullu, Mandi, Rewalsar. In Uttarakhand you can visit:- Nainital, Lansdowne, Mukhteshwar, Almora, Sattal, Rishikesh

Not now. Lots of landslides and falling rocks in Himachal
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
At this point of time i must say no.As the monsoon has already arrived and will continue till the last week of august. You might not enjoy the trekking to kheerganga in the monsoon as well because it gets difficult going up the slope.Rains are too frequent so you cannot explore according to your desires. I would suggest to travel in the winters during jan-feb if you are snow person or you can travel in the summers.
