There are a couple of budget hotels in the Abu road station area. Distance from the hotels to Mount abu is around 20kms. Better stay there. Roam around the city area. Enjoy steet food. Ride through the hilly roads and you'll love the view while driving to mount Abu or Guru shikhar. Get some beautiful snaps on the way.
I have recently stayed at Shivalik hotel, Mount Abu road area. By the way there are some costly hotels up the hill side too..
It is really a good time visit Kerala on march. And the plan for 4 days is fine. You can visit Tiruvanandapuram, Allepy, Ernakulam, Cochin, Mahe all these days
Hi Pulak, March to June and October to November are the best months to visit Tirthan Valley. January-February is also good if you are looking for snow and can handle extremely cold conditions. It is in full bloom during the spring season.
November is season time so book your flight tickets and hotel in advance. The weather will be pleasant. If you want to relax and live in a peaceful surrounding, book a hotel in south Goa. If you are going with friends and want to party and chill then you should stay in North Goa. And don't forget to carry slippers and sunscreen ;)
I think nov will have a lot of traveler in goa, if you have no budget issue you can go in Nov as most of the hotel and other prices get hiked in Nov-Dec-Jan. Do your own research online and check hotel prices near the place you want to visit and calculate a approx spending , that should help you.
Thanks a tonne! I have never been to Himachal Pradesh before. Wondering how long it would take to reach Pugla via train and cab. Also how much do you think will be my expenses in Pugla for say 5 days?

Hi Nithin, Hampi is an ancient village in the south Indian state of Karnataka. Its dotted with numerous ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire. On the south bank of the River Tungabhadra is the 7th-century Hindu Virupaksha Temple, near the revived Hampi Bazaar. A carved stone chariot stands in front of the huge Vittala Temple site.
You can explore the place during the weekend or probably 4 days. The nearest railhead from Hampi is Hospet that is at a distance of 13 km. You can hire taxi or cab to reach the place comfortably. Hospet is well connected to major cities and towns and some of them are Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa etc. I have attached an article on Hampi, you can go through it for more details on Hampi and places to explore around it.
Toit Brewpub. Location : https://goo.gl/maps/8EHGTT8VSV52 This is one of the best pub in Bangalore. Food is very tasty. And this pub is reasonable as well.
Uttrakhand itself as a whole is mesmerizing during August (post monsoon) as all the hills are converted into lush green valleys and clouds are always by passing you, however Uttrakhand has two sides of it - Kumaon & Garhwal. Kumaon leads over Garhwal if you do not want to go deep into Uttarkashi, hence my advise would be to head towards Mukteshwar in Kumaon if you are looking for a peaceful and serene trip. You can also refer to my blog here for Mukteshwar. https://www.tripoto.com/trip/roadtrip-to-heavenly-designed-homestay-in-between-the-hills-lap-of-himalayas-mukteshwar-5b7c1522124bf
The nearest large station/airport is Bhopal. From here you can take cab/bus to Pachmarhi. Local sightseeing will take 1-2 days depending on how many spots you want to visit-caves, waterfalls, view points.
Hi, from Bhopal , it's about 250 KM. 1) at pachmarhi, book only MP tourism hotels, as they are really very good.
2) don't book any pvt hotels.
3) book in advance for MP tourism hotels.
4) hotel karni kar, devdaru bungalow, Glen view etc are some of the best one.
5) Keep cash with you, as only 3 ATMs are there in pachmarhi and mostly without cash.
6) keep a day or 2 day for sight seeing.
7) dhoop garh, bada mahadev ji, jata shankar , reech garh, bee fall..etc are the main attraction.
8) gypsy have to book an dubey take app.1200 -1500.
9) entire route from bhopal to pachmarhi is very good. hope the above points will work out.
