No The best time to visit Gavi is by December and January
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi Purusottam, The best time to visit Gavi is from September to February. You will be getting a chilling experience during this period at Gavi. If you want to enjoy the heavy monsoon at Gavi, plan your trip from June to September. The summer period (from March to May) is usually not preferable.

You can visit Kasol & Tosh at those tym.. I was there at the same time.. weather will be good.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
I travelled to kasol, this new year's eve. And it was wonderful experience. We stayed in YOLO camps near kheerganga river. First day, rest for sometime and then leave for Tosh if weather allows, else explore nearby area & enjoy new year eve in camps in evening with bonfire & music. Second Day, leave early for Manikaran as it can get too crowdy in afternoon. We walked for around 12km from Manikaran-kasol due to huge traffic jam on the way. And if you have some time left then explore kullu.

Include Hampi also...If you have minimum 3 days then you can cover 1. Hampi (1 day...although I like to spend 3 days in Hampi only) Badami-pattadakal-aihole (1 day) Bijapur (1 day) Start your journey from Bijapur and travel down to Hampi or you can start from Hampi and go up to Bijapur. Look for trains reaching from Bijapur to Hospet and then take a local bus/taxi to Hampi. From Hampi, hire a taxi to go around Badami-Pattadakal-Aihole Then take a train back to Bijapur and then Hyderabad. Check out below links for outlook on Hampi and Badami: https://www.tripoto.com/trip/hampi-a-morsel-for-vijayanagara-empire-59ccc284a7bc4 https://www.tripoto.com/trip/lustrous-badami-caves-59d37257e7486

You can get a direct train from Zurich to Interlaken, no need to change. Even if there is a change, it's easily manageable, most of the time it's very well managed by Swiss railways. The platform at which the train arrives, the connecting trains departs from the same platform in most of the cases.

Hi You either have to take it from Bern or Lucerne which are directly connected to Zurich. I suggest you take train from Lucerne as it'll cover part of Golden Pass Route and have breathtaking scenery . Yes you gotta run but 6 minutes are sufficient.

Yes, you can absolutely trek to Tapovan without any travel guide. Gaumukh Tapovan trek is one of the most beautiful trek in India which takes you to the origin of Bhagirathi and beyond. The trek starts from Gangotri. If you want to trek upto Tapvan , you will need a pass from forest department. You can get the pass at Uttarkashi; however, if you wish, you can also get this pass at Gangotri as well. The office will be open from 10-12 in the morning and 2-4 in the afternoon. The officers will ask for your identity proof and how you are trekking. Now, if you want to trek without any travel guide, I suggest you to visit this office of forest department, you will be able to find plenty of solo trekker over there and some groups as well. Join any of them and you are good to go.You can stay at Lalbaba ashram in Bojwasa for the first night or camp at Chirwasa. Since the trek is really tricky after after Gaumukh glacier, I would suggest you to please find a group or other solo traveller in Gangotri which is really easy. I trekked to Tapovan last year and found a couple at Gangotri. I would suggest you to take atleast five layers of clothing because the wind on this trek is very strong and chilly. I hope you got your answer. Happy and safe trekking.

Ideally he should make the bookings right away. Check with him if all blockings have been made and give you a confirmation on the blockings of the hotels. If thats done right, then he will pay the hotels only once you have paid the 100% to him and then get the hotel confirmation vouchers from the hotel to pass on to you. As long as you have the blockage confirmation with the deadlines and release period/cancellation policy and you follow that, you should be good.

Hey, For budget options, you can either choose Homestays or Hostels. I will personally advice you to go for backpackers hostels as you meet many new fellow solo travellers. My personal fav place is: Hostel: Jungle Tree Hampi Link: https://www.booking.com/hotel/in/jungle-tree-hampi.en-gb.html
